Get ready for a whole new era of The Challenge.
Reality stars from Survivor, Big Brother, The Amazing Race, and Love Island are taking their talents to the original competition series franchise for its new spin-off, The Challenge: USA, and now it's time to meet the 28 competitors who are putting on the Under Armour jerseys for a shot at half a million dollars.
The full cast list was revealed Wednesday, and it's chock-full of CBS reality legends. They include Survivor winners Tyson Apostol, Ben Driebergen, and Sarah Lacina; Big Brother champ Xavier Prather; The Amazing Race victor James Wallington; and Love Island winner Justine Ndiba. It's basically an all-star cast list already.
Plus, there are tons of contenders looking for their first big win, like Big Brother alum Tiffany Mitchell (who helped make history with the iconic Cookout alliance) and Survivor alums Domenick Abbate (who lost the very first tiebreaker Final Tribal vote), Danny McCray, and Shan Smith. But who will have what it takes to win The Challenge? And which reality show will reign supreme over the others?
CBS The cast of 'The Challenge: USA'
Hosted by T.J. Lavin and filmed in Buenos Aires, The Challenge: USA will begin with each competitor being given $1,000 in their individual challenge accounts. Throughout the season, they must battle to keep and increase their prize money by either winning challenges or eliminations (in which they steal all the money in their opponents' account). But to complicate matters, an algorithm will randomly pair contestants for each challenge, making alliances and strategies more difficult to manage than ever. Only one male and one female will be declared Challenge champions by the end of the season, winning $500,000 and going on to compete on The Challenge: Global Championship (working title), the upcoming Paramount+ tournament.
