Meet Southern Charm Newbie Jarrett Thomas, Who Is “Blown Away” by Taylor Ann Green
The Charm-ers are back — and though Southerners are known for their manners, the gloves are officially off in the Southern Charm Season 9 trailer.
A preview for the upcoming season dropped on August 3, and it highlights the rumors that Austen Kroll hooked up with close pal Taylor Ann Green following their respective splits from Olivia Flowers and Shep Rose. It also showcases Taylor and Shep rekindling their romance for a night, some drama between exes Austen and Madison LeCroy, a quip from Patricia Altschul, and the arrivals of a few new faces.
Interior designer Rodrigo Reyes, computer programmer Rod Razavi, and real estate businessman Jarrett Thomas are new to the group for Season 9. They join returning cast members Austen, Madison, Shep, Taylor, Olivia, Venita Aspen, and Leva Bonaparte.

Who is Jarrett Thomas from Southern Charm Season 9?
According to his official Bravo bio, Jarrett (who also goes by JT), may be residing in South Carolina, but he originally hails from another Southern state: Virginia. As a result, being a Southern gentleman is important to Jarrett — and he’s looking for a Southern belle who can be his lifelong partner. In the trailer, Jarrett sets his sights on Taylor.
“I feel like our souls connect, and I’m blown away,” he says when the two are out at a bar together.
However, Taylor also reconnects with her ex, Shep, in another scene shown in the clip, and rumors circulate about a potential past hook-up with Austen as well.
Could Jarrett’s feelings for Taylor complicate his existing friendships with Shep and Austen? Based on the teaser, his bond with Shep may be on thin ice.
The press release adds, “JT is a successful Southern eccentric with a loud personality. Buoyed by his professional prowesses, he’s looking for a partner to spend the rest of his life with and has a particular Southern belle in mind.”

What is Jarrett Thomas’ job?
When he’s not socializing with his friends and hitting the town, Jarrett has a booming real estate business. He manages The Inns in Charleston, which are luxury vacation rental homes in downtown Charleston.
When does Southern Charm Season 9 premiere?
The new season of Southern Charm will debut on Thursday, September 14, at 9/8c on Bravo. New episodes will also be available to stream the next day on Peacock.
