  • Nikko Gonzalez is the son of former news anchor Lauren Sánchez and former NFL player Tony Gonzalez.

  • He's also a college graduate and a model, having walked a Dolce & Gabanna runway early this year.

  • The 23-year-old doesn't share much of his life online, but his family does.

Lauren Sánchez might be making a name for herself in the fashion world, but it's her son you should be keeping an eye on.

Nikko Gonzalez, 23, is the son of Sánchez and her ex-boyfriend, former NFL tight end Tony Gonzalez.

He first made headlines in January when he walked a designer runway during Milan Fashion Week and is now in the spotlight again after his mom applauded his college graduation on Instagram.

Here's what you should know about the up-and-coming star and his relationship with his ultra-famous family.

Who is Nikko Gonzalez?

Gonzalez was born on February 12, 2001. At the time, Sánchez was working as a TV reporter, and his dad, Tony Gonzalez, was in the NFL playing for the Kansas City Chiefs.

Though his parents had no other children together, Gonzalez is now surrounded by many siblings. Sánchez shares one son and one daughter with her ex-husband Patrick Whitesell, and Gonzalez's father has three children — two girls and one boy — with his wife, October.

When Sánchez marries Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, he'll also gain three stepbrothers and one stepsister.

Gonzalez doesn't share much about himself or his personal life on Instagram, instead opting to share artistic images and occasional selfies.

His mom, however, often posts small glimpses into her son's life on birthdays and other special events — from family photos showing Gonzalez with his parents and Bezos to video montages that include clips of him skydiving.

Gonzalez also seems to be close with his father, walking a Prime Video red carpet with him in January for "The Underdoggs" premiere.

A model and college graduate

Like his mom, Gonzalez is interested in philanthropy. In August 2023, he shared that he joined her in working with the This Is About Humanity organization, which supports families separated across the US-Mexico border.

"Big thanks to my mom and @elsamariecollins for this experience, giving me the chance to contribute and deepening my understanding of the broader issues at hand. 🙏❤️," he wrote at the time.

But he's also focused on his career.

At the start of this year, Gonzalez walked the Dolce & Gabbana menswear runway during Milan Fashion Week.

He modeled a traditional black tuxedo, a matching V-neck undershirt, and a gold brooch in the middle of his chest.

The rising star also graduated from college this month, which Sánchez congratulated him for on Instagram.

"Really emotional day for me. My firstborn graduated from college today!" she wrote alongside a baby photo of her son. "My heart is overflowing with pride for this incredible young man. It seems like yesterday your dad and I were carrying you in our arms."

It's unclear what Gonzalez studied and what his next career plans entail.

But if his recent successes and family history are any indication, his future will likely be bigger and better than what he's already accomplished.
