On the surface, he looks like your everyday soft-and-cuddly bunny. But Snowball, the rambunctious rabbit Kevin Hart voices in the new animated adventure The Secret Life of Pets, is a stone-cold revolutionary. He’s a freedom fighter bent on liberating animals from the tyrannical clutches of man. He’s also insane. And yes, he does accidentally drop pellets for all to see.
“Snowball is not your average white rabbit,” Hart says in an exclusive Pets featurette (watch above). "Snowball is special… Having the opportunity to play a fluffy white bunny and put a militant twist on it, that was exciting… I can’t just do anything, my voice is too tough.“
The Central Intelligence comedian-actor also explains why Pets, — which comes from the team behind Despicable Me and Minions — is also drawing kudos for its production design. "The main reason why the film looks as good as it looks is the addition of Kevin Hart,” he says.
The Secret Life of Pets, which also features the voices of Louis C.K., Eric Stonestreet, Jenny Slate, and Albert Brooks, opens everywhere Friday. Watch the trailer:
