The Philadelphia-area connection and perhaps some family drama may come into play on the upcoming season of ABC's hit reality series, "The Bachelor."

Dozens of women will vie for the love of Joey Graziadei, who hails from Montgomery County and attended West Chester University.

And of the 32 contestants, three of the women are from the region.

According to ABC, Graziadei is returning as The Bachelor after his heartbreaking departure at the end of Charity Lawson's season of "The Bachelorette," giving the charismatic tennis pro a second shot at finding his perfect match.

The 28th season of "The Bachelor" will premiere at 8 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 22 on ABC.

ABC's The Bachelor website only identified by their first names — Allison, Lanie and Lauren — and states they are from the Philadelphia region, and adding to the drama is the fact that Allison and Lauren Hollinger are sisters. The women confirmed their participation in Dec. 20 Instagram posts, inviting followers to tune in.

A Wiki entry on season 28 of "The Bachelor" includes the participants full names and more information on their exact hometown.

Allison Hollinger and Lauren Hollinger are both from Dover, DE, while Lanie Latsios is from Glen Mills, and went to Temple University, according to her Linkedin profile.

According to Allison's profile, the real estate agent, who says she studied at the University of Delaware in a Facebook post, "has had multiple serious relationships but still hasn't found Mr. Right. She's looking for a man who is loyal, positive, mature and kind, so she's excited to see if Joey is her perfect match. There's one catch though...Allison will be looking for love alongside her older sister and best friend, Lauren."

Lanie is described in her profile as having a "positive, bubbly personality," and comes from a big Polish/Greek family. Lanie's parents have been married for over 30 years, and Lanie is hoping to find a love like her parents have and is looking for a man who is emotionally available and mature.

Lauren is a registered nurse and has high standards. Her instagram shows she's an Eagles fan and with friends at the Jersey shore.

Graziadei was the runner-up to Dotun Olubeko in Lawson's season of "The Bachelorette" and will now get a second shot at finding his soulmate.

In the ABC news release announcing Graziadei as the leading man for Season 28, the bachelor "won over Bachelor Nation with his honesty and openness to find lasting love" during Lawson's season.
