Meet the couple that let Hard Mountain Dew completely take over their Knoxville wedding
Imagine loving Hard Mountain Dew so much that you let the brand completely take over your wedding, including who officiates the ceremony, what's served and even who's invited to be your guests.
The brave couple, Alina Ibarra and Nicholas Enriquez, tied the knot at the Foundry in Knoxville on Nov. 15, and every single detail was handled by the iconic brand. The company took care of everything, even selecting the dozens of Hard Mountain Dew-loving crashers in attendance.
"What a perfect way to finally celebrate Nick and I's love and let's get married by Hard Mountain Dew for free in front of a bunch of random people," Ibarra told Knox News. "I knew that would be such a fun party atmosphere."
That's right, the couple didn't know a soul. Not even Margaret McCalls, who volunteered to give a sweet wedding speech and toast (with boozy Hard Dew, of course).
Enriquez said the party perfectly reflected their eight-year adventure together.
On top of the Hard Mountain Dew fountain, black and green cake, gorgeous green flowers and soda top wedding bands, the couple said they felt surrounded by love – for themselves and for a drink they have grown to adore.
