These days it seems like things are getting worse for the Duggar family.
Jim Bob and Michelle are reportedly feuding with their son-in-law Derrick Dillard, who's been very vocal about the way Jim Bob treats his children.
While the rest of the family has been mum on the situation, there's one person who seems to be on Derrick's side.
That person is Amy Duggar, Jim Bob's niece.
Amy replied to Derrick on Twitter about revealing secrets about the Duggar clan. She seemed to voice her support towards him by telling him to keep it up.
Fans of the Duggars remember Amy from her guest appearances on the show. Like her famous relatives, Amy has also remained in the news in recent years.
So let's take a look at the life of Amy Duggar.
She doesn't share the Duggar's beliefs
Amy's home life is much different from her famous relatives.
Amy doesn't share the same religious beliefs has the Duggars and doesn't live a conservative lifestyle.
One shocking fact that Duggar fans were stunned to learn is that she was born out of wedlock. Her mother is Deanna Dugger, the sister of Jim Bob. Amy's father is a man by the name of Terry Jordan.
In 2006, Deanna and Terry decided to get married. However, nine years later in 2015, the couple divorced.
She tried to become a singer
Fans feel in love with Cousin Amy when she appeared on 19 Kids and Counting.
As an only child, Amy loved spending time with her 19 cousins. She was often seen at family functions, trying to liven up the party.
In 2014, Amy was the subject of a TLC special called When A Duggar Leaves Home. The show followed Amy as she tried to launch a singing career.
Amy did record a track and filmed a music video released by TLC. However, she soon decided singing wasn't for her.
These days Amy works as a social media influencer and owns her a clothing boutique called 3130 Clothing.
In 2014, Amy began dating Dillon King. A year after they started dating, the couple became engaged.
The couple's wedding took place on September 6, 2015 in the town of Bentonville, Arkansas. The Duggar clan was in attendance for the ceremony, and Amy's younger cousins Johanna, Jennifer, Jordan, and Josie served as her flower girls.
The first year into their marriage, problems arose for Amy and Dillon. The couple appeared on the WE TV reality show Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars.
During therapy sessions, the couple opened up about their problems. Amy also revealed that as a child she was physically abused by her father, which was the underlying cause in her marriage problems with Dillon.
She's a mom
After Amy and Dillon worked on their marriage issues, the couple began planning ahead for children.
In April 2019, Amy announced that she and Dillon were expecting their first child. A few weeks later, the couple revealed the baby was going to be a boy.
On October 9, 2019, Amy underwent a C-section to deliver their son. Amy and Dillon named the boy Daxton Ryan King.
Amy is overjoyed with being a mom and can't stop gushing over her son and sharing pictures of him with fans.
