The Puppy Bowl, now in its 20th year, will showcase 131 different dogs from 73 shelters and rescues across the country. Cherry and Pecan, who were cared for by one of the humane society's Foster Heroes, were selected to compete in the tournament.

The brother-sister duo, Pecan and Cherry, will face off on opposing teams — Pecan proudly representing Team Fluff, while Cherry takes the field for Team Ruff.

The three-hour special premieres Sunday, Feb. 11, at noon MST and will air on multiple networks and streaming services, including Animal Planet, Discovery, TBS, truTV, Max, and Discovery+.
