Meek Mill announced a forthcoming Dreamchaser record label project, paying homage to Hip-Hop veterans.

The Philadelphia native revealed plans for Dream Chasers Vol. 1 La Familia, which in name references Jay-Z’s 2000 compilation The Dynasty: Roc La Familia, which featured Roc-A-Fella Records’ top-talent including Beanie Sigel and Memphis Bleek.

In the post shared on Monday (Jan. 8), Dreamchasers artists including Vory, Yung Ro, Diamond Street Keem, and Jaylanie are tagged. Fans also get a glimpse at the album’s artwork, which is simplistic in design. The solid black background with multicolored jewels arrange to form the record label’s logo.

“WE GONE SEE,” wrote the 36-year-old. Celebratory comments were left by Curren$y, Fivio Foreign, Jim Jones, and more.

“Volume 1. Coming Soon…” was also teased from the Dreamchasers Instagram account.

Meek Mill speaking on stage
Meek Mill speaks onstage as Michael Rubin, Meek Mill, Jay-Z, and more Host Inaugural REFORM Alliance Casino Night Event at Ocean Casino Resort on September 30, 2023 in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

Meek Mill’s last solo album was 2021’s Expensive Pain. In 2023, he and Rick Ross teamed up for the collaborative Too Good to be True. Outside of music, the Grammy-nominated rapper keeps busy with the REFORM Alliance, working for social justice since his controversial legal battle ended in 2019.

“Not committing a [violent] crime still led me to prison being locked in a small room 23 hours a day, being locked up with murderers and eating junk food, sleeping on concrete,” explained the “Bag of Money” performer to CNN last year.

“You know, that was a lot. I try to see past it and not to dwell on things like that, not bitter about it because it is my life and what brought me to who I am today.”
