Meek Mill Will Drop Rick Ross Collaboration “Kobe & Shaq” Early Under One Condition

Meek Mill and Rick Ross are releasing their first collaboration in years titled “Kobe & Shaq,” which has fans of both of them very excited. The Philadelphia rapper has offered listeners the opportunity to get the track early if they fulfill one specific quest.

The “Dreams & Nightmares” rapper took to Instagram on (Sept. 25) and shared the single’s cover art. In the caption, he wrote, “I need you to leave a comment if you miss that MMG SOUND OF RAP MUSIC because labels saying rap dying … 20,000 comments I’ll leak #KOBE AND SHAQ B4 Friday @richforever 9/29 intro.”

At the time of writing this article, the post has over 21,000 comments, meaning Meek now has to hold up his end of the bargain. His rap peers, namely YG, Benny The Butcher, and Tierra Whack were among those looking to hear “Kobe & Shaq” early and made their voices heard in the comments. Time will tell whether he fulfills fans’ wishes, but in the meantime check out the post below.

Meek Mill and Rick Ross revealed that they were in the studio working together last month. Meek posted footage of them rapping along to different verses while in Miami’s famous House Of Hits recording studio. “MEEK X ROZAY SOUNDS…. I know I know it’s gonna drop,” he said in the caption.

It has been some time since the Maybach Music Group duo has worked together on a record. Their last collaboration, “Routine” came out in 2019 on Wale’s Wow… That’s Crazy. A few months prior, Meek appeared on “Bogus Charms” from Ross’ Port Of Miami 2.

Meek and Ross released albums, Expensive Pain and Richer Than I Ever Been, respectively, within two months of each other in 2021, but neither featured on the other’s work. Now, they’re back and given their catalog of collaborations, it is safe to assume “Kobe & Shaq” is bound to deliver. Check out the footage of them in the studio below.
