After Snoop Dogg announced his plan to stop smoking weed this week, Coi Leray and Meek Mil have both voiced their desire to do the same.

In an X post written on Thursday (Nov. 16), Meek wrote, “Ima go to Dubai and completely stop smoking … ima follow snoop, my doctor said I got a lil bit emphysema in a chest if I don’t stop smoking it cuts my lifeline in half, I was addicted to the nicotine and this new weed got too many chemicals and too risky to play with my mental!”

Coi also shared similar sentiments in two Instagram Stories. The “Players” rhymer shared that she’s going to stop smoking “starting Monday,” which would be (Nov. 20). “Let’s do this!” she wrote.

In another story she changed her mind and wrote, “Ima quit after Thanksgiving.”

Snoop made his shocking announcement on Thursday (Nov. 16) with a monochromatic Instagram post that read, “After much consideration and conversation with my family, I’ve decided to give up smoke. Please respect my privacy at this time.”

Fans immediately expressed their support, and even confusion about his decision.

Conor McGregor commented, “Best of luck Snoop! We are with you all the way!,” while another person wrote, “On this note, I quit too.” One user came up with the idea that Snoop may not even be referencing marijuana at all, but drama. “He didn’t say smoking he said smoke lol,” they wrote.

Snoop has had his focus on other ventures such as his Broadus Foods company and now Death Row Games with his son Cordell Broadus.

“Our vision for Death Row Games is to provide access and opportunity to diverse creators to empower them as well as broaden the narrative around what gaming can become,” Snoop said in a statement. “We are still in the early stages but my team and I are excited to start building in the UEFN ecosystem where we believe the next generation of audiences are.”
