Medic Rushed in for 'Chopped Junior' Injury

On Chopped Junior, a circus theme was in effect and the young contestants were given "circus" foods to work with during the appetizer round including corn dogs, avocados, corn on a stick and circus cookies. Everything was going fine for 11-year-old, Tanner Waxman until his finger met the wrong end of his knife while he was slicing onions for his guacamole. A medic was on hand and she took Tanner to the sink to wrap the cut up, but the clock was still ticking down and Tanner was left thinking there was a huge chance that he was going to get chopped, this time in a metaphorical sense. Fortunately, they were able to wrap up Tanner's so he could finish his appetizer and he was able to advance to the entree round. Although Tanner was eventually chopped, he kept a positive attitude saying, "I'm a huge fighter, and I won't stop no matter what."
