Pittsburgh Steelers star “Mean” Joe Greene reunited with his co-star from Coca-Cola’s famous “Hey, Kid, Catch!” commercial after nearly 40 years.

The duo was brought back together for CBS’s “Super Bowl’s Greatest Commercials” special, which will air on Tuesday, Feb. 2.

“I think the people that created it wrote a great commercial that really tells a story … that commercial’s kind of what Joe is: tough, football player, who’s a nice guy,” Tommy Okon, who played the 9-year-old kid in the commercial, says in a preview of the reunion on People.com.

In the original commercial, which debuted in 1979 but most famously aired during Super Bowl XIV in 1980, Okon offers Greene a bottle of Coke to lift his spirits after a rough game. In return, Greene gives him his Jersey.
