As fans of the original, the new "Mean Girls" cast couldn't wait to revisit some of the film's best moments.

The 2004 Mean Girls is essentially one hour and 37 minutes worth of incredibly quotable lines, almost all of which have permeated pop culture. So when the new cast signed on to the musical movie, they knew they had a daunting task in front of them: They had to recreate some of those beloved moments.

"I was excited because Cady gets to say, 'It's October 3rd,'" the Australian Angourie Rice tells EW. "I was really excited for it until getting in the room and I was like, 'This is so hard to say in an American accent.'"

Meanwhile, Avantika, who plays Karen, got to say, "On Wednesdays, we wear pink," while Bebe Wood, who plays Gretchen says, "I loved screaming, 'You can't sit with us!'"

As Damian, Jaquel Spivey got to deliver, "You go, Glen Coco," along with the amazing, "She doesn't even go here."

But Auli'i Cravalho, who plays Janis, was actually more excited to sing "I'd Rather Be Me" from the Broadway musical. "I was really excited to raise my right finger a lot in this movie," she says, holding up the middle finger on her right hand. "Truly at a certain point in filming, I was told by our directors and producers like, 'Hey, we don't have any more [middle fingers], you've used them up, otherwise we'd change our rating.'"

For Reneé Rapp, who takes on the role of Regina George, it was all about putting her own spin on telling Cady to get in... loser. "The way Rachel McAdams delivers it is really cute and sexy and, obviously, I am obsessed with her," Rapp says. "I really, really liked the way she delivered it in the film." But for her take on it, she says, "I was like, 'Oh no, she should be hitting on her.'"
