Meagan Good revealed exactly how she feels about her beau, Jonathan Majors, during the 2024 NAACP Image Awards on Saturday (March 16). While on the red carpet, the Harlem actress proclaimed that she’s “in love” with the Creed III actor.

“I’m in love, I’m transitioning, I’m healing, I’m growing and I’m getting excited about what’s next,” she told PEOPLE. “Yeah, just a lot of things at once, but what I can say is, I’m the happiest I’ve been in a long time.”

Speaking to the beauty of their relationship, despite his ongoing legal woes, the recent divorcee added, “I just have peace in my heart and I have joy in my heart, and I love myself and the skin that I’m in and the season that I’m in and the growth that’s happening. I keep my eyes on God, that’s the focus. And I stay true to myself and I stay authentic.”

“I know what I know that I know,” she continued. “And in time, everything else just catches up with what you know, if you’re true to yourself and you’re authentic.”

Good double-downed on Majors’ exact sentiments shared at the 7th African-American Film Critics Association Special Achievement Awards Luncheon earlier this month.

Making their first public appearance, Majors told Extra, “We’re in love… We’re doing good, thanks for asking.” Meagan agreed: “We’re doing great. God’s good.”

The Hollywood stars were first rumored to be dating back in May 2023, and confirmed their romance the following month. At the time, Good stood by Majors’ side in court as he was accused of domestic violence by his ex-girlfriend, ultimately being found guilty of one count of misdemeanor third-degree assault and one count of second-degree harassment. He is currently awaiting sentencing.

The Lovecraft Country star is scheduled to be sentenced on April 8, as his legal teams continues to push for his guilty verdict to be thrown out. Since allegations of abuse have surfaced, Majors has been pretty much blacklisted in Hollywood. He was first dropped by his management team, then Marvel severed ties with him.

He has also lost roles as Kang the Conqueror, Otis Redding, and Dennis Rodman for the biopic Magazine Dreams.
