McAlister's will be opening in Shreveport on Mansfield Road. What you need to know

McAlister's Deli on Mansfield Road will open Monday, May 9, at 10:30 a.m. The restaraunt will be giving away free tea for a year to the first 100 guests in line on opening day.

“We are excited to open our newest McAlister’s Deli location in the great town of Shreveport,” said Guillermo Perales, president, and CEO of Sun Holdings, Inc. “This will be our 6th location in Louisiana and we hope to continue growing our footprint and serving these communities by opening more restaurants in the area.”

McAlister's was founded in 1989, as a fast-casual restaurant chain known for its hospitality, sandwiches, spuds, soups, salads, desserts and McAlister's famous sweet tea.

This new location will provide a variety of ways for customers to dine, including dine-in, delivery and pick up through a drive-thru. This drive-thru will create a quick and convenient way for customers to get their food.

This restaurant will be open from 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sunday through Thursday. On Friday and Saturday, it will be open from 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.
