‘Mayor Of Kingstown’ Ups Michael Beach To Series Regular, Adds Richard Brake, Denny Love & Paula Malcomson As Recurring For Season 3

EXCLUSIVE: Paramount+ is rounding out cast for the upcoming third season of Mayor of Kingstown, starring Jeremy Renner.

Michael Beach, who has recurred in the first two seasons, will return as a series regular for Season 3 in his role as Kareem Moore, one of the prison guard captains in Kingstown (see photo below). Additionally Richard Brake (Barbarian), Denny Love (Looking for Alaska) and Paula Malcomson (Deadwood) will join in recurring roles. Nichole Galicia and Necar Zadegan will also both return this season in recurring roles as Rebecca and Evelyn Foley.

Brake plays Merle Callahan, one of the Aryan shot callers in Anchor Bay who is currently serving a life-sentence.

Love portrays Kevin Jackson, a rookie prison guard.

Malcomson plays Anna Fletcher, a woman from Kingstown with a request for Mike.

Along with Renner, returning series regulars include Hugh Dillon, Tobi Bamtefa, Taylor Handley, Emma Laird, Derek Webster, Hamish Allan-Headley and Nishi Munshi.

Co-created by Oscar nominee Taylor Sheridan and Hugh Dillon, the series follows the McLusky family, power brokers in Kingstown, Michigan, where the business of incarceration is the only thriving industry. Tackling themes of systemic racism, corruption and inequality, the series provides a stark look at their attempt to bring order and justice to a town that has neither.

The series is currently filming its third season in Pittsburgh.

Brake’s most recent film credits include starring roles in Barbarian and in Rob Zombie’s The Munsters. He can also be seen opposite Jim Cummings in the festival hit indie The Last Stop In Yuma County. Known for his role as Night King on Game Of Thrones, Brake’s additional TV credits include Ray Donovan, Absentia, The Royals and The Bastard Executioner. He’s repped by Markham, Froggatt and Irwin and Main Title Entertainment.

Love most recently played the series lead role in Looking for Alaska, across Charlie Plummer and Kristine Froseth, and starred in the 2022 SXSW selection “Awayy,” which won “Best Drama” at SeriesFest. He’s repped by Anonymous and Greene.

Malcomson is best known for her roles as Trixie in Deadwood, Abby Donovan in Ray Donovan and Maureen Ashby in Sons of Anarchy. Her film work includes Tombstone, The Green Mile, and The Hunger Games series. She plays Rose Parish on the upcoming series Parish and can be currently seen playing Detective Colette Cunningham on Redemption. She’s repped by Innovative Artists and The Way

Beach can be seen starring as Frank Hunt in Annapurna’s If Beale Street Could Talk and also plays Matna/Jesse Kane in Aquaman.
