People seem to be fleeing some neighborhoods of New York amid the pandemic, preferring to face the foreseeable future in less cramped conditions. This means big business for moving companies like Flatrate Moving, which says it’s seen a 46% increase in business. Some have declared New York City “dead,” but comedian Jerry Seinfeld wrote an op-ed that says otherwise. Mayor Bill De Blasio agrees.
