Mayim Bialik made her debut as guest-host of Jeopardy! Monday. While some viewers might know her best from the 90’s hit sitcom “Blossom” or more recently from her work on “The Big Bang Theory,” they may be surprised to know that she is a bonafide smarty-pants.

“It is an incredible honor to guest host ‘Jeopardy!," Bialik said after being introduced. “I was raised in a very creative and academic family, but it wasn't until high school that I fell in love with science, and that love led me to a PhD in neuroscience. I so appreciate that ‘Jeopardy!’ is a show that tests all aspects of intellect and allows the brightest minds to shine.”

Viewers loved her in her debut performance as guest host, with one person tweeting, “Mayim Bialik is doing great! Smart, controlled and confident. One of the best cohosts by far.”
