After the Quiet on Set docuseries delved into allegations of abuse on the set of Nickelodeon TV series in the past, many other child actors are sharing their experiences and thoughts on the claims.

In actress Mayim Bialik's case, she starred on the NBC sitcom Blossom as a kid, from 1990 to 1995, and she revealed in a recent conversation that the claims in the docuseries didn't just relate to Nickelodeon, but they "touched me personally."

Bialik took on the tough topic on her podcast Mayim Bialik’s Breakdown, bringing in her Blossom co-star Jenna von Oÿ and fellow child star Christy Carlson Romano to discuss.

"Of course, it touched me personally. Of course, it did," Bialik acknowledged, calling the time period explored in the show as "an era of television history that is incredibly problematic."

"This is not what happened because ‘Nickelodeon this-that'... You’re watching what the entire culture was like [at the time]," she added. Von Oÿ also stated that claims of abuse like those included in the Quiet on Set were "things that I heard about other sets during our time.”

Meanwhile, Romano went into detail about how, during her time at Disney Channel starring in projects like Kim Possible and Even Stevens, she felt that she couldn't decline any opportunities put in front of her, saying, "It was like every child who managed to get in through that front door had to say yes to everything."

Along with Bialik, von Oÿ and Romano, Jennie Garth was another actress who responded to the docuseries, bluntly replying to a request for comment about her experience working with producer Dan Schneider—who is discussed in the docuseries—by saying, "I don't want to talk about Dan Schneider ever again in my life."

In Quiet on Set, Nickelodeon child actor Drake Bell came forward with allegations of abuse from his time at the network as a kid. He has continued to openly discuss his experiences, recently calling out the TV network for its "empty" response.
