Sometimes money isn't everything...

On Loot, a new series coming to Apple TV+ on June 24, that's exactly what Molly Novak (Maya Rudolph) discovers. A billionaire with a dream life, including private jets, a sprawling mansion, and a gigayacht, Molly seemingly has it all. But when her husband (Adam Scott) cheats on her, she's plunged into a spiral that makes her ripe for tabloid fodder.

A surprising life raft comes in the form of a charity foundation, which she learns belongs to her. Run by the no-nonsense Sofia Salinas (Michaela Jaé Rodriguez), the foundation desperately needs Molly to get her act together and stop generating bad press. But Molly finds that the foundation is the perfect opportunity for her to finally learn who she really is on her own terms.

The first trailer was unveiled on Friday for the 10-episode series, which is executive produced by Rudolph and was written and created by Alan Yang (Master of None) and Matt Hubbard (30 Rock).

The series also stars recent EW cover star Joel Kim Booster as Molly's loyal assistant, Nicholas. Booster cites Rudolph as an early comedy icon and inspiration in his own career, even referencing her role in a recurring SNL sketch, "Gays in Space," in his new film Fire Island.

Booster says he and Maya even bonded over the SNL sketch Gays in Space, calling her a "gay icon."

"It was so funny to go straight from Fire Island to working with Maya," he tells EW. "For all of it to come full circle like this — for me to be on a show with Maya, for Bowen [Yang] to be saying that line [in Fire Island] as a cast member on SNL — is so wild. I feel like I'm a witch. I don't even know how I got so lucky."
