Mauricio Umansky Is Moving Into a Celeb Hotspot West Hollywood Condo Amid Separation From Kyle Richards

Fans of Bravolebrity exes Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky have been staking out the former couple’s every move since their separation was reported last summer. News of the split was a shock to many, as the pair have been married for almost three decades. Rumors have plagued the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills stars, though one thing seemed certain: “Kyle and Mauricio have been separated for a while now but are still living under the same roof,” a source told People in 2023.

But in a move that can be interpreted as a more definitive end to their longstanding union, AD has confirmed that Umansky will be moving into 8899 Beverly Hills, a swanky residential building in West Hollywood. The tawny new building has been a hotbed of A-list activity lately; last week, Oppenheimer star Matt Damon put down roots there, buying an $8.6 million unit on the fourth floor. Just days ago, it was revealed that the building’s $24 million penthouse east is Southern California’s highest-priced condo sale so far this year, a deal brokered by Umansky and Michelle Montany via the former’s highly successful global real estate brokerage, The Agency.

Completed in 1964, the celeb-beloved building was previously the original Los Angeles International Design Center, designed by LA architect Richard Dorman. Reimagined by AD100 firm Olson and Kundig, the classic midcentury structure is now a well-appointed, full-service 10-story condominium complex, with an additional eight town houses surrounding the structure.

The building is made up of 38 distinct condos, each wrapped in floor-to-ceiling glass doors that open up to large terraces. The units feature open floor plans and unobstructed views of Beverly Hills, the Hollywood Hills, and the San Gabriel Mountains. Among the many amenities are a 24-hour concierge and a 2,300-square-foot, state-of-the-art fitness center, complete with yoga studios. Stella West Hollywood, currently one of LA’s buzziest restaurants, is located on the ground floor.

Umansky was first introduced to the world as the husband of Richards, an original cast member of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Apart from his role as the founder and CEO of The Agency, Umanksy also has a Netflix series of his own, Buying Beverly Hills, which follows the goings-on at the luxury brokerage and the lives of a core group of its agents.

Despite Umansky’s move, he and Richards seem to be on good terms amid their split. The pair and three of their four daughters were pictured together enjoying the country music festival Stagecoach over the weekend.
