Matthew McConaughey Shares Sweet Moments With Daughter Vida When Walking Red Carpet With All Three Kids

Matthew McConaughey’s latest outing proved that his kids are alright, alright, alright. The actor and his wife Camila Alves made a rare red carpet appearance with all three of their kids — Levi, 15, Vida, 14, and Livingston, 11.

The family of five attended the Mack, Jack & McConaughey Gala in Austin, Texas last night, and McConaughey had the sweetest moments with Vida. It’s clear he has so much love for his little girl. In one photo, he has his arm around her and looks at her adoringly. In another, he gave her a side squeeze and a forehead kiss that got a little grin out of the teen who looked so grown up in her delicate and chic pink lace gown.

She also looked just. like. her mom with her high cheekbones and long, dark, wavy locks. In fact, all three McConaughey kids have curly hair — which we guess could have come from either parent — and they all look like they were born to walk the red carpet. Having a mom who’s a model and a dad who’s known for his effortless swagger probably helps!

Levi and Livingston both looked so confident and dapper in their black suits and white shirts. While McConaughey opted for brown dress shoes and a blue suit, his sons added a casual touch to their looks by rocking white sneakers.

In January, Vida celebrated her 14th birthday and her parents’ loving birthday tributes further proved how much the teen looks like her model mother. There’s just something about those soft smiles and soulful eyes.

Last fall, McConaughey shared the sweetest video with his kids. After his children’s book Just Because became a New York Times bestseller, they threw him an intimate party that showed just how tight-knit this family is. The adorable rhyming book teaches families that more than one thing can be true at one time.

“Just because I’m in the race,
doesn’t mean I’m fully ready.
Just because I’m shaking,
doesn’t mean that I’m not steady,” he wrote.

In the video, he told his sons (we bet Vida was nearby), “Y’all were a big inspiration for this book,” and gave them hugs, showing his affection for them just like he did for Vida on the carpet.
