Yes, you read that correctly. Oscar winner and romcom king Matthew McConaughey his 50 years old today. Famous friends like Salma Hayek wished him happy birthday on the day, while also congratulating him on crossing another milestone: joining Instagram.
Making The Instagram Jump
McConaughey has been notoriously absent from social media, and he made the jump to Instagram in a charming fashion. With a short video, McConaughey informs his new followers -- 285k at the time of publication and rapidly climbing -- that he wants to do this his way.
"When people come to my page, I want them to see me. This is my first venture into sharing myself and my views with the world and I'm a little bit nervous about it."
