Parents have a new opportunity to get their young children on the Fleetwood Mac bandwagon, now that Mattel has officially unveiled a Barbie doll of Stevie Nicks. The doll, which Nicks first announced during her October 1st show at Madison Square Garden, is inspired by the outfit she wears on the cover of Rumours.
“I have something very exciting to share with you a few hours before the rest of the world,” Nicks told the MSG crowd, adding that the collaboration has been about a year in the making since Mattel first approached her. “I was very overwhelmed. Will she be like me? Will she have my spirit? Will she have my heart?”
If you ask us, the Stevie Nicks Barbie has as much spirit and heart as a plastic humanoid can have. She comes dressed in a flowy black gown and witchy knee-high boots, her sandy blonde hair perfectly blown out — even her slightly-pouty facial expression is pretty uncanny. To top it all off, she comes with a moon-shaped necklace and a tambourine.
“When I look at her, I see my 27-year-old self,” human Nicks wrote on Twitter. “I am her and she is me. She absolutely has my heart.”

Nicks just kicked off a run of North American tour dates that will continue through March 2024. Tickets can be purchased at StubHub, where orders are 100% guaranteed through StubHub’s FanProtect program.
My Stevie @Barbie has been with me now for several months. When Mattel came to me asking if I would like to have a Barbie made in the “Rumours” cover style I was very overwhelmed. Of course I questioned “would she look like me? Would she have my spirit? Would she have my heart…”… pic.twitter.com/JQXjF7XSMK
