Matt LeBlanc is behind the wheel of a Reliant Rialto in BBC America’s first trailer for Top Gear Season 23 (premiering in May). The Episodes star joins British TV personalities Chris Evans and Rory Reid, Formula 1 commentator Eddie Jordan, German racer Sabine Schmitz and motoring journalist Chris Harris as a presenter on the revamped automobile program.

LeBlanc’s decision to join the show comes on the heels of a recent indication that Season 5 of Episodes will be its last, which has all but been confirmed by Showtime following a recent Instagram post from co-star Kathleen Rose Perkins. The Friends alum is also set to headline a CBS family sitcom pilot opposite Jenna Fischer (The Office).

LeBlanc’s getting in Gear comes after the highly publicized ousting of former host Jeremy Clarkson, who was embroiled in a verbal and physical altercation with one of the show’s producers in 2015. Fellow presenters Richard Hammond and James May left soon after to launch a new car show with Clarkson on Amazon.
