If Megyn Kelly is looking for unwavering support, she may need to search beyond her "Today" co-stars.

A Page Six source overheard a recent conversation that suggests Matt Lauer is well aware of Kelly's production difficulties -- and he doesn't blame celebrities for shying away from the program.

An "industry insider" reportedly mentioned to Lauer that Kelly's team has had trouble booking talent, to which Lauer replied that he "gets it," the source said. Lauer then added, "It's a big problem for them."

Lauer's comments come weeks after Kelly inadvertently offended some of her most hot-ticket guests to date -- screen legend Jane Fonda and the cast of "Will and Grace."

Fonda was outwardly irritated when Kelly brought up her plastic surgery procedures live on air, and "Will and Grace" star Debra Messing said she regretted going on the show at all after Kelly asked a fan in the audience, "Is it true you became a lawyer and you became gay because of Will?"

Kelly's poor reception is seemingly dragging down ratings for "Today" as a whole, negatively impacting "Kathie Lee & Hoda," which follows her hour: "It is a real problem and no one wants to book Megyn's show."
