Whatever bad blood there is between Matt Lauer and his wife, Annette Roque, they can both attend the same swanky events together without drama.

The one-time Today show host, who will reportedly pay the former model $20 million when their divorce is finalized, took in the Hampton Classic Horse Show on Sunday — and so did Roque. Co-owners of Bright Side Farm, a 40-acre equestrian facility in Water Mill, N.Y., they are both horse lovers and apparently couldn’t miss the event in nearby Bridgehampton.

As far as soon-to-be exes go, they seem to be amicable. Although they tried dodging photographers, apparently going separate ways when they noticed they were being snapped, there were a few shots of them in the same frame but not interacting. However, a telltale sign that they did cross paths was their dog. At one point, Roque, 51, was holding the leash. At another, Lauer, 60, was holding it. Lauer, in a Yankees cap, and Roque, looking bright and fresh in floral, were also both with the same unidentified woman.

It’s not a big shock that they’re cordial — after all, they still co-own a Hamptons mansion, which they bought from Richard Gere for $36.5 million in 2016, with Roque and the kids living in the main house and Lauer in the guest house, according to People magazine.

Earlier this month, Entertainment Tonight reported that Lauer, who was dumped by NBC last year after being accused of sexual misconduct, will pay Roque, with whom he shares three children (Jack, 17, Romy, 14, and Thijs, 11), a $20 million divorce settlement. A source told the news outlet that Lauer “wants to make sure Annette,” whom he married in 1998, “is taken care of.” (The Roque-Lauers have long had marital trouble. She filed for divorce in 2006 but withdrew the papers soon after.)

ET previously reported that Lauer was “inching his way back into society” after the humiliation he faced last year when claims were made about his inappropriate sexual behavior in the workplace.

“Matt is completely aware he has not been forgiven for his sexual misconduct, and certainly all has not been forgotten,” a source said. “He also knows he might never be completely pardoned for his behavior, so he’s finally come to terms with the fact he needs to start stepping out in public. He is beginning to inch his way back into society. He still fears the endless backlash, but also knows he can’t hide forever.”

Earlier this month, he also attended a paddleboarding charity event in the Hamptons, Paddle for Pink, not signing up but tagging along with a friend at the last minute. He was all smiles for photographers there.

In July, Lauer gave his first interview since his sex scandal broke to Checkpoint With John Campbell to discuss a fight he is in with a government agency and a hiking group about a road on a property he owns in New Zealand. He said that his neighbors were “taking advantage” of him during “difficult times,” alluding to the sex scandal. “I think they see me as an easy mark.”
