What if anything you can tell us about the new season of CBS’ Ghosts? –Irene
Tonight at 8:30/7:30c, “We’re going to find out who got sucked off, and we’re going to find out pretty quickly,” co-showrunner Joe Wiseman previews. “The first episode deals with the immediate ramifications of this knowledge.” Whatever the reveal is, it will hit Sam pretty hard, given the connection that she’s formed with the friendly spirits. So even though her goal is to help the ghosts move on, now that it’s happened, “it’s hard for her,” co-showrunner Joe Port shares, adding that hubby Jay will be “a shoulder for her to lean on as she deals with losing one of the ghosts.”

Is something brewing between Chicago Med‘s Zola and Crockett? Because she seems interested in him… –Claire
I delivered your Q to EP Andrew Schneider at a TCA press tour soiree, and he answered, “Let’s just say Zola is a loose cannon, and she crosses boundaries… and she may cross a boundary too far.”

When will we learn more about Ripley’s past on Chicago Med? –T.D.
You can count on some fresh intel Episode 6 (airing Feb. 28), when someone from his past turns up as a patient. “Ripley grew up kind of as a street kid and had a tough childhood, and was able to turn his life around. But some of the people he knew back then were not,” says EP Andrew Schneider. “So when he meets an old friend, he finds they’re in very different places in their life.”

Will we be seeing more of Marvin “Krondon” Jones III’s character Louis in Season 2 of Halo? –Ivan
Yes, he has a big role in this season’s very eventful Episode 4 (streaming Feb. 28).

Will there be any kind of crossover on the new seasons of All American and All American: Homecoming? –Blake
“What’s so beautiful about [the franchise] is that the characters exist in both worlds and there’s so much love and crossover and everything within the family,” showrunner Nkechi Okoro Carroll told TVLine during the TCA press tour. But with the shows’ return dates not set until today — All American returns April 1, and Homecoming‘s own 13-episode run begins after its sire’s finale — “we may not have as much crossing over as we have in previous seasons,” Carroll said, but “the characters are still very much alive in each show and sharing storylines across the two shows.”

I know we saw Gabriela running after Bode in the Fire Country Season 1 finale, but will we see her in the premiere worried about him in prison? –TPB
I dunno — watch our exclusive sneak peek from Friday’s Season 2 premiere above, then tell me what you think!

Any scoop on Will Trent Season 2? –Ally
Sonja Sohn told me at TCA that given what all went down at the close of the Season 1 finale, the relationship between Amanda and Will will be “a little warmer” moving forward, that “you see an evolution of that moment.” That said, “There’s an episode, which we’re [shooting] right now, where Amanda’s past comes back to haunt her, and more information about Amanda is revealed at that time to Will,” Sohn shared. “And a conflict comes out of that.”

Has All Creatures Great & Small been renewed for a fifth season? –Shanna
Has Miss Scarlet & The Duke been renewed for Season 5? –Bridget

The status of these two shows came up at the TCA winter press tour this week, and MASTERPIECE exec producer Susanne Simpson said to expect news on both “soon.” (After which, she relayed this bad news.)

What can Young Sheldon fans expect from the final season? –Craig
When TCA visited the set this week, the exec producers shared that they are currently penning the series finale — and sitcom titan Chuck Lorre, for one, asserted, “It’s as exciting, in its own way, as the finale of The Big Bang Theory.” And leading right up to that grand finale, “the last three episodes are gigantic,” EP Steve Molaro avowed.

Young Sheldon‘s Raegan Revord recently shared on TikTok that she shot one of her most emotional scenes yet. Anything you can tease about that? –Rayna
I delivered your Q to Raegan while on-set. She thought carefully for a moment, then offered this: “I can’t say much, but [the scene] was with Mary… but it’s not what people think it is.” She also said it happens on or around Episode 5.

Will Hulu’s The Artful Dodger be renewed for Season 2? –Neela
“All the cast would be very keen” on that happening, Maia Mitchell, who plays Lady Belle Fox, told us, but there is no decision yet. “I would do that show forever, so I have my fingers crossed,” the Good Trouble star added. “I’m just as in the dark as everyone else, but I know that it’s definitely on the table.”

NBC’s Extended Family has been pretty cute, and great with guest stars (such as Bob Hearts Abishola‘s Billy Gardell, above). Any upcoming guest stars to share? –Devin
Showrunner Mike O’Malley told me on Wednesday night that upcoming Season 1 guest stars include Boston Celtics alum Paul Pierce… Joel Murray (of Heels, Shameless and Mad Men)… and Caroline Rhea. Regarding Rhea’s visit, O’Malley previewed, “The Boston Celtics decide they should ‘own’ Saint Patrick’s Day for their foundation, because that just makes sense, and she comes to this event where Jon [Cryer]’s character, Jim, decides he’s going to teach people about Irish history — not all of which is fun!”

Any scoop on S.W.A.T.? –Al
Both Alex Russell and Jay Harrington will be directing episodes during the 13-episode final season kicking off this Friday night.

Any word on a Season 2 premiere of FX’s The Old Man with Jeff Bridges? –KJP
FX boss John Landgraf told me to expect it in the back half of 2024.

Any scoop on Enver Gjokaj’s Resident Alien character? –Ken
“Oh, Enver plays a big part” in the season now underway, showrunner Craig Sheridan told me. “He starts out as a hybrid human/alien working at the sheriff’s department, under the radar. Remember, Harry was supposed to have left in the pod in Season 2 and didn’t, so Enver as Joseph is trying to figure out what Harry is doing there. Now, I don’t want to give anything away, but we get to see a side of Enver that we haven’t seen a lot. He’s a very funny actor and very smart, and I wouldn’t have guessed that he’s as great at improv as he is. He and Alan [Tudyk] are amazing together, and there are also scenes with him and Edie Patterson (who is playing Harry’s blue avian love interest).”

There seemed to be a little vibe between Janine and Manny (Josh Segarra) in the Abbott Elementary premiere. Will that turn into something? –Liz
I raised that question with co-showrunner Justin Halpern this week, and he first raved that The Other Two alum Segarra “is one of those guys who always brings a slightly different energy and rhythm than the other characters on the show. With some guest actors, theres this pressure to be ‘wacky as hell so that I pop,’ but Josh is like, ‘I’m going to figure out how I fit into this world.’” Now, back to my actual question: “You’ll have to see!” hedged Halpern. “I’m not saying no, I’m not saying yes.”
