Matt Damon is looking back on his enduring friendship with Ben Affleck. During an interview with Access Hollywood’s Kit Hoover, the “Stillwater” star reflected on a time in their pre-“Good Will Hunting” years when Ben crashed with him and a friend at their Los Angeles apartment after a broken engagement. “All of his stuff was in our living room, and he slept on this couch,” Matt remembered. “The couch wasn’t a full-sized couch, and he’s 6-foot-4, so I’d walk out every morning and see his legs dangling off the side.” Matt also revealed how his “Stillwater” character resonated with him and why the film’s standing ovation at Cannes had him tearing up. Plus, the actor shared the funny reason why his daughter refuses to watch his movies. “Stillwater” hits theaters on July 30.
