The Matchmakers Episode 12 Trailer Teases Rowoon, Cho Yi-Hyun’s First Kiss
KBS recently released The Matchmakers Episode 12 trailer, starring Rowoon and Cho Yi-Hyun. The romance comedy K-drama revolves around two widowed matchmakers who have fallen in love.
Episode 11 featured Sim Jung-Woo (Rowoon) proposing marriage to Cho Yi-Hyun’s Jung Soon-Deok (aka Yeo Joo-Daek). She rejects the proposal, revealing that she is a noblewoman with a son and that a former matchmaker claimed that her late husband was her fate.
Despite the barriers, fate continues to bring the lead characters together. In the recently released The Matchmakers Episode 12 trailer, Jung-Woo and Soon-Deok lean towards each other for their first kiss.

The Matchmakers episode 12 will air on Monday, December 11, 2023, at 9:45 p.m. KST on KBS. It will later be available on Viki with subtitles.
The trailer begins with Rowoon’s Sim Jung-Woo asking Soon-Deok about her family. The next scene shows her mother-in-law angry and wanting to summon the matchmaker who is helping Jung-Woo. The latter is then seen apologizing to her mother-in-law. However, the reason for her apology is unclear.
Meanwhile, Jung-Woo’s investigation into finding his late wife’s death proceeds. He tells the King that the ongoing case is related to the Crown Prince’s abduction. The trailer further shows the Left State Minister and the Defense Minister plotting to get rid of Jung-Woo.
At the end of The Matchmakers Episode 12 trailer, distressed Soon-Deok is seen running while the Defense Minister appears to witness something shocking. The final scene features Jung-Woo and Soon-Deok leaning towards each other for a kiss. He is heard saying, “I knew it the first moment I saw you. That I would never forget you as long as I live.”
The Matchmakers airs on Mondays and Tuesdays on KBS and Viki.
