The Masked Singer sends home Thingamajig and Leopard in shocking double elimination! Find out which celebs were under the masks

Warning: This post contains spoilers for The Masked Singer season 2 episode 11.

It was the holiday-themed semifinal episode of The Masked Singer, but it wasn’t jolly for two contestants who got coal and were eliminated.

The five remaining contestants — Fox, Rottweiler, Thingamajig, Flamingo, and Leopard — sang their cheeriest holiday tunes Wednesday tonight. And for the occasion, each performer gave the panel a present, a.ka. an on-stage clue.

Judges Robin Thicke, Jenny McCarthy, Nicole Scherzinger, and Ken Jeong were all dressed up in their best holiday attire, while Nick Cannon was the ho-ho-host of the night, once again.

Fox, with his outfit adorned with mistletoe, busted out the beloved Donny Hathaway song “This Christmas” on a snow globe-dotted stage. Then, Rottweiler (Santa Paws, if we’re going along with the theme) jammed out to the Killers’ “Mr. Brightside.”

Thingamajig had us feeling warm and cozy with his cover of Bing Crosby’s “Winter Wonderland.”

Like Cannon said, Flamingo took us to church with a gorgeous rendition of Jeff Buckley’s “Hallelujah.” Might we say she was best in snow tonight? Manufactured snow from Los Angeles maybe, but still. Even Thicke got chills listening to her performance.

Finally, big contender Leopard sang Shirley Bassey’s classic tune “Big Spender” in the final performance. The upbeat showcase had elves, candy canes, Christmas trees, and a snowman — was it enough to save the feline a spot in the finals?

So who went home tonight? Was Thicke correct in his prediction that Thingamajig and Rottweiler would be sent packing?

Well, he got it half right, as Thingamajig went home. But the second contestant to leave was … Leopard.

Thingamajig was unmasked to be Indiana Pacers player Victor Oladipo.

The gentle giant’s most telling clues included hints to his home state of Maryland, rehab (for his basketball injury), the number four (he dons the Nov. 4 jersey for the Pacers), and magic (he once played for the Orlando Magic). Plus, he’s showed off his great voice before on his YouTube channel and recent album. In this episode, he also referenced his parents coming to America with nothing — Oladipo’s mom and dad are immigrants from Nigeria and Sierra Leone, respectively.

Next, Leopard was revealed to be famed British crooner Seal.

Many of the biggest clues leading to Seal included the hint saying “he wasn’t always wanted” (Seal was raised by a foster family), his birth year of 1963, performing at the White House, and a newspaper bearing “The Runway” as a headline — Seal’s marriage and subsequent split with supermodel Heidi Klum was highly publicized.

And then there were three. Next Wednesday, the 2-hour finale will see Flamingo, Rottweiler, and Fox battling it out for the crown. Who do you think will win this season of The Masked Singer? Plus, get excited for season 3, which will air after the Super Bowl and has already announced one contestant — the banana!
