'The Masked Singer' Reveals Flower's Identity

Last night's episode of 'The Masked Singer' was an intense one. The show is right at its midpoint. This is when the competition really starts to fire up. This week Flamingo, Flower, Leopard, and Rottweiller performed and went head to head. Literally. Ultimately, Flower lost to Leopard causing her to be unmasked. Flamingo kicked off the night with her rendition of "Lady Marmalade.” The Leopard hit back with his version of "September" by Earth, Wind & Fire. Many suspect Leopard to be Seal.

Flamingo was the clear winner here.Robin Thicke called her performance "the best of the season" which certainly goes well with the praise Jenny McCarthy's gave after her last performance of "Never Enough" from 'The Greatest Showman.' Flower was up next performing her version of "Alone" by Heart. The audience was hypnotized by her powerful voice chanting her name. Unfortunately, it wasn't enough to top Rottweiler's cover of “Grenade” by Bruno Mars. McHale labeled this performance as the best of the season.

This lead to the ultimate showdown with Leopard and Flower facing off against each other for their safety. Leopard sang “Don’t Cha” by The Pussycat Dolls clearly aiming to win over judge Nicole Scherzinger who sang this song as the lead of the Pussycat Dolls. Flower gave out one last battle cry singing "Eye of the Tiger” by Survivor. Flower got the ax and the judges submitted their final guesses. They had been suspecting Patti Labelle for a while.

Aside from Jeong sticking with his gut on Bjork, Judges McCarthy, Scherzinger, and Thicke all guessed Labelle. They were spot on. Flower unveiled that she was, in fact, the famous singer Patti Labelle. When asked about her experience on the show, Labelle exclaimed, "I loved it! I loved it!" She also explained that unlike Kelly Osbourne, "I didn't change my voice, this is what God gave me." While this reveal isn't exactly a surprise, it was a good one nonetheless.

Kelly Osbourne, who was eliminated the week prior as Ladybug, went on 'The Talk' to discuss her experience. "I did the show because I took two whole years off. I've never done that with my career," she explained on the talk show's Nov. 15 episode. "To take that time off and fix what was broken, and get sober and now be the new me, but have to be the new me behind the mask was a great way to kind of step back into the limelight again."
