SEE Michael Rapaport (‘The Masked Singer’ Pickle) reveals he was ‘surprisingly upset’ by elimination: I ‘have the voice of an angel’

8:00 p.m. — “Previously on ‘The Masked Singer’!” In episode 3, four characters took “The Masked Singer” stage to sing their hearts out in hopes of advancing to the next round. In the end, Pickle was forced to unmask following his performance of “Beverly Hills” by Weezer. The crunchy dill was revealed to be actor and comedian Michael Rapaport. Who will unmask tonight?

8:05 p.m. — After Robin opens the show with “Tiny Dancer,” Nick introduces tonight’s first competitor: Hawk. In his clue package he reveals, “As a young bird I was always hanging out with adults and grew up pretty fast into the family business. But around other birds my age I was super shy, closed off. I felt alone, like a total reject. Until, one day I heard a sound that changed my life in the blink of an eye. Heavy guitar chords blaring from my speakers that got my teen heart beating. This fast, raw music blew up my world. And the fallout? Boards, brawn and bruises. I built my own voice in my own way. I had the time of my life touring. I found my power in grimy busses and hot parking lots. I had never been happier. I realized being a reject is totally fine by me.” Visual clues included a full moon, a treasure chest and a tour bus with a postcard that reads, “Greetings from New York.”

8:10 p.m. — Hawk is singing “Saturday Night’s Alright (For Fighting).” I’m not sure if he’s famous for singing, but he can definitely carry a tune and has the rock edge necessary to pull this song off. This bird’s got great stage presence and opens the show with a bang! For an additional clue, a tiny dancer brings out a photo of Miley Cyrus. Hawk says, “Just like the great Elton John, I too have collaborated with Miley Cyrus and I loved every second of it.” This leads the panelists to guess Cole Sprouse (Ken), Pete Wentz (Nicole), Corey Feldman (Robin) and Austin Butler (Robin).

8:15 p.m. — Next up is Husky. In his clue package he reveals, “The husky is one of the world’s most majestic creatures. They’re known to have battled all sorts of landscapes and elements. But they’re also extremely energetic, aware and loving, just like me! When I first hit the scene I had a strange effect on the female species. Every time I got on the stage they showered me with love, and sometimes their underthings. Despite the positive attention, I was totally loyal — a family dog. More interested in my own brood than the trappings of fame. While I’ve gotten on in dog years, I’m ready to bring my boundless energy, talent and doggone dopeness to ‘The Masked Singer’ stage. I just ask that those in the audience please keep your clothes on.” Visual clues included a crying emoji, a carousel, Mother Nature (aka Vivica A. Fox) and something that looks like chocolate.

8:20 p.m. — Husky is singing “Bennie and the Jets.” He has a husky, soulful voice and definitely sounds like a professional recording artist. He also knows how to work his falsetto while bumping and grinding on stage. For an additional clue the men in black fly out on a rocket ship. Husky says, “I skyrocketed up the charts and landed on this platinum album.” This leads the panelists to guess Babyface (Jenny), Terrence Howard (Robin) and Morris Chestnut (Ken).

8:25 p.m. — The third competitor tonight is Royal Hen. In her clue package we are welcomed to the coronation of the Royal Hen. For the first time ever, the Royal Hen is set to hold court. A true trailblazer, she is famous for championing equal opportunities for all and has made it her mission to be a voice for the voiceless. Her road to stardom was wrought with prejudice. She was no chicken, she entered the ring bravely and proved to her 90 million subjects that she was worthy of the crown. Ah, here she is receiving the royal stadium hot dog. Having now inspired a new flock of birds, her name is etched in history. Congratulations! We are here to serve you. God save the Royal Hen. Visual clues included a plate with a football engraved on it, a bear, a hot dog and the Eiffel Tower.

8:30 p.m. — Royal Hen is singing “Philadelphia Freedom.” All signs point to this woman being an older icon without a background in music. She moves very little on stage and at times her voice is overshadowed by the background vocals. For an additional clue, the men in black carry out a heart with a medal on it. Royal Hen says, “This is when I won the Presidential Medal of Freedom from President Obama.” This leads the panel to guess Gloria Steinem (Robin), Jane Fonda (Jenny), Lily Tomlin (Jenny), Sally Field (Jenny), Rita Moreno (Jenny) and Billie Jean King (Ken). It’s worth noting, Elton John wrote “Philadelphia Freedom” for the tennis legend.

8:35 p.m. — Last on the stage tonight is Tiki. In his clue package he reveals, “Alright! From as far back as I can remember I’ve always wanted to be a rockstar. As a kid I knew I had the pipes, so when my dream came true it made perfect sense. I got to sell a million records, travel the world and party with some of music’s biggest names. But I was a stiff drink with a loose mouth and I got myself in a lot of trouble. I definitely rubbed some people the wrong way, so it’s no surprise a few of them wanted to rum-punch me in the face. After all the highs I was left fearing my career would be poured down the drain. Instead, I cleaned up my act, stepped out on my own and showed I’m still at the top of my game. And as for these other singers? I’m here to tiki home that golden mask and you’re all grasping at straws.” Visual clues included “SNOOZE” on an alarm clock, a globe, a skull, Pineapple (Tiki’s friend voiced by Tommy Chong in Season 1) and a monkey.

8:40 p.m. — Tiki is singing “Goodbye Yellow Brick Road.” This sounds like a seasoned music veteran who probably has a long history in rock music. He’s got a husky voice, but still plenty of range. He can definitely sing and he loves the crowd. For an additional clue, the men in black play “I Guess That’s Why They Call it the Blues” over the speakers. Tiki says, “If you’re ever feeling bluesy, you can come to me for a good laugh.” This leads the panel to guess John Stamos (Jenny), David Lee Roth (Nicole) and Robert Plant (Robin).

8:45 p.m. — The panelists and studio audience have voted. The two singers with the least amount of votes are Royal Hen and Hawk. They will now go head-to-head in a royal smackdown to stay masked. That means Husky and Tiki are safe and will advance to the next round.

8:55 p.m. — Royal Hen and Hawk each put their own spin on “Don’t Go Breaking My Heart.” Hawk’s rock version is clearly superior and the panel agrees. They decide Hawk wins this bird battle and Royal Hen will unmask.

9:02 p.m. — Before Royal Hen unmasks the panel submits their final guesses: Gloria Steinem (Robin), Rita Moreno (Jenny), Billie Jean King (Ken) and Dr. Ruth (Nicole). The time comes for Royal Hen to unmask and she reveals herself to be tennis legend and equal rights pioneer, Billie Jean King! Ken was right for the third time this season! The season of Ken continues! What an absolute legend to have on this “Masked Singer” stage. Nick lets us know they’ll be back next week for “Harry Potter Night.”
