All hail the queen! Last seen on stage more than a month ago, Miss Cleocatra returns to The Masked Singer on Wednesday (Fox, 8/7c) to face off against the other members of Group B. But who is she really? Let’s dig a little deeper and see if we can identify this mystery celebrity.
Some contestants have kept us stumped all season, but let’s be real, this isn’t one of them. From the moment she opened her mouth to sing Etta James’ “Stormy Weather,” we knew exactly which diva was behind this regal kitty — the one and only Jenifer Lewis!

Besides recognizing the Princess and the Frog star’s unmistakable vocals, let’s take a look at some of the more obvious clues Cleocatra dropped in her first week. For starters, she alluded to a diagnosis she “never wanted” that she’s now using for good; Lewis has been very outspoken about being diagnosed with bipolar disorder, something she hid for many years before speaking out and encouraging others in similar situations.
Cleocatra also boasted about working her magic on an Emmy Award-winning show — that show being ABC’s black-ish, which was nominated for more than 25 Emmys during its eight-season run (2014–2022). As for the “Bel-Air” sign in her clue package, who could forget Lewis’ recurring role as Aunt Helen on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air?
Do you agree that Lewis is lurking under Cleocatra’s slinky exterior? Drop a comment with your own theories about any of this season’s remaining contestants below.
