8:00 p.m. — “Previously on ‘The Masked Singer’!” In Episode 6, Goldfish, Koala, Lovebird, Starfish and Ugly Sweater each took the stage in “Transformers Night.” Following the studio audience vote, Lovebird and Koala received the least amount of votes, being revealed as “The Bachelor” star Colton Underwood and NFL Hall of Famer DeMarcus Ware, respectively. Who will be unmasked tonight?

8:05 p.m. — The Group A finalists kick off the night in style singing “We Are the Champions.” Then it’s time for Ugly Sweater to take the stage. In his clue package he reveals, “I love being this colorful sweater, and I’ll be yarned, I made it to the Group A finals! I can’t wait to honor Queen with a song about freedom, baby. They say what’s old is new again, and I say no, I’ve been upcycled, and recycled more times than I can count. Inspired everyone from Snoop Dogg to Nirvana. Talk about a fashion statement! I even worked with the legendary Tupac — I like to keep that little tidbit in my pocket. Yep, you can say I’ve influenced a soul circle of stars, all by doing my own thing. As a sweater who was once tossed aside, getting to the quarterfinals will show you can always break free from anything, whether it’s your past, your dirty laundry or your skinny jeans. Just roll up your sleeves and do what you love like it’s going out of style.” Visual clues included a pool float, a praying hands emoji, a bar of 24k gold and a crying face emoji.

8:10 p.m. — Ugly Sweater is singing “I Want to Break Free.” He certainly sounds like a soulful legend. Robin calls him one of the great voices to ever grace their stage. Ken says he’s peaking at the right moment. For an additional clue, Ugly Sweater reveals he has a connection to Nick. The crooner says, “Nick, I’ll never forget giving you dating advice, and obviously you didn’t forget either.” The panelists guess that Ugly Sweater could be Smokey Robinson (Rita), Aaron Neville (Jenny) or Charlie Wilson (Robin).

8:20 p.m. — Next on stage is Starfish. In her clue package she reveals, “This Starfish put up quite a fight last time. And I’m just going to keep on fighting right through this Group A final, because that’s what Freddie would do. He knew how to perform under pressure, literally! After my two best gal pals got my dream job, the pressure was on for me to become a star on my own! And then I get this call to step on to something else, to replace someone who got fired! That first day on the job, I felt like my every move was being scrutinized, but this was my chance! Nothing was going to stop me. I put my spin on it, and it worked! Looking back, I was glad I was able to perform under pressure. And now that’s exactly what I’m going to do tonight. It would be another dream come true if I could make it to the quarterfinals, and this queen is coming for her crown.” Visual clues included a telescope, a white rabbit and a golden bell.

8:25 p.m. — Starfish is singing “Under Pressure.” She’s the only contestant in this group that sounds more like a comedic actress than music artist, but she still has chops! And she’s fun to watch. Rita says she wants to buy her very own Starfish doll. As an additional clue, it’s revealed that Starfish is connected to Jenny. She states, “Jenny, last time we hung out I offered you tickets to my show! You can consider this one on the house too.” This leads the panelists to guess Starfish is Kate McKinnon (Robin), Amy Schumer (Rita) or Kate Flannery (Ken).

8:30 p.m. — Goldfish is last up in this Group A final. In her clue package she reveals, “I’m so excited that I’m in the Group A finals! I really try to appreciate every moment because I’ve learned that life comes in waves. I had just gotten a dream role, but the night before my debut I received the worst news I could have ever imagined. I lost my number one supporter. Nothing could have prepared me for that. I felt like I couldn’t move. But then I remembered, there was no one in the world that enjoyed watching me perform more. So, I reached down inside and found the courage to take that stage. And I performed for the one seat that wasn’t filled. It was heartbreaking, but so beautiful to honor them. It was one of those ‘the show must go on’ moments. I had the resilience and strength to push through because of everything that they taught me. This song is for them.” Visual clues included a map of an island, a picture of a male goldfish on her mirror (her #1 supporter), a wizard hat and a poster of a rose that says Goldfish is headlining “The Masked Singer.”

8:35 p.m. — Goldfish is singing “The Show Must Go On.” It’s a fun, elegant performance. She’s definitely got a great voice, but I still wonder if she’s more known for being an actress. Maybe a TV star who has crossed over to Broadway? Rita is is in tears, calling it “so moving.” The additional clue reveals Goldfish has a connection to Ken. Goldfish says, “Ken, you’re ridiculous and you have so much heart. I love it so much. You obviously haven’t changed since the last time we worked together.” The panelists guess Goldfish could be Hillary Duff (Robin), Selena Gomez (Jenny) or Vanessa Hudgens (Rita).

8:45 p.m. — After the studio audience vote, the first singer unmasking tonight is Ugly Sweater. Before he unspools, the panelists make their final guesses: Al Green (Ken), Aaron Neville (Jenny), Smokey Robinson (Rita) and Charlie Wilson (Robin). Finally, Ugly Sweater pulls off that mask and reveals he is, indeed, Grammy-nominated soul legend Charlie Wilson! Robin was right!

8:55 p.m — It is now time for the Battle Royale between Goldfish and Starfish. They each put their own spin on “Another One Bites the Dust” before the panelists choose a Group A winner to advance to the quarterfinals. It’s a tough call, but they choose Goldfish, meaning Starfish will take it off and head home tonight.

9:02 p.m. — Before Starfish reveals herself the panelists submit their final guesses: Kate McKinnon (Robin), Amy Schumer (Rita), Kate Flannery (Ken) and Lisa Kudrow (Jenny). Starfish finally reveals herself and it turns out, Ken is actually right! The Starfish is “The Office” star and SAG Award winner Kate Flannery! Next week Group B will return with “Girl Group Night.”
