Marylander among drivers stranded for hours on I-95 after snow

A snowstorm walloped parts of Maryland that don't usually get much snow, and it caused many drivers to have to wait for hours while stuck on a Virginia highway. People who waited until Tuesday to dig out were greeted with snow that had turned to ice. But it could have been much worse as commuters in Northern Virginia got caught on Interstate 95 for more than 12 hours.
