Mary Tyler Moore's Former Connecticut Mansion Has Hit the Market for Nearly $22M — See Inside!

Mary Tyler Moore's Greenwich estate is searching for a new owner.

The five-bedroom Connecticut mansion once belonging to the late sitcom actress has been listed for $21.9 million with Joseph Barbieri of Sotheby's International Realty – Greenwich Brokerage.

The Georgian colonial home, dubbed Harkaway, offers plenty of privacy with 7.37 outdoor acres landscaped by Janice Parker. To reach the secluded 1900 residence, one must drive on a gated driveway along a winding stream that leads into Oakley Pond.

"Mary Tyler Moore created an extraordinarily beautiful home on an enchanting property," Barbieri tells PEOPLE. "I'm honored to be able to represent Harkaway for her."

The residence is also expansive, with a floor plan designed by Stephen Wang totaling 13,825 square feet.

The second-floor primary suite is in a private wing, which spans over 2,000 square feet and includes dual marble baths, dressing rooms, and spacious walk-in closets.

Guests first witness the ample square footage of the estate when they open the front door to the home and see a spiral staircase that serves as the focal point of the foyer.

As visitors make their way through the entryway, they are met with scenic landscape views inside the Venetian-plastered living room with a bay window and fireplace.

With a pool table and built-in bookcases, the dual-purpose billiards and library room is perfect for entertaining guests and features comfortable window seats and a marble fireplace.

The formal dining room echoes the features of the living room and has fine dentil molding. Nearby, the kitchen accesses the breakfast and family room with a fireplace.

Through the French doors is the patio for indoor and outdoor dining, which is adjoined by an office that houses its own powder room with tray ceiling and marquetry floor.

Moore was a beloved TV icon in the '70s with starring roles in The Dick Van Dyke Show and The Mary Tyler Moore Show. Later in her career, she turned in memorable performances in films like Ordinary People and Stolen Babies.

She died at age 80 on January 25, 2017, her longtime rep confirmed in a statement to PEOPLE.
