Mary Lattimore Announces New Album Silver Ladders , Shares New Song: Listen

Los Angeles-based harpist Mary Lattimore has announced a new album. It’s called Silver Ladders and it’s out October 9 via Ghostly International. The seven-track follow-up to 2018’s Hundreds of Days was produced by Neil Halstead of Slowdive. “I flew on a little plane to Newquay in Cornwall where he lives with his lovely partner Ingrid and their baby,” Lattimore said of the collaboration. “I didn’t know what his studio was like, he’d never recorded a harp, but somehow it really worked.” Below, check out the tracklist and hear the new song “Sometimes He’s in My Dreams.”

In the time since Hundreds of Days, Lattimore has worked on several collaborative projects including Ghost Forests with Meg Baird and New Rain Duets with Mac McCaughan. This year, she has contributed to albums including Julianna Barwick’s Healing Is a Miracle, Soccer Mommy’s color theory, and Frances Quinlan’s Likewise.
