Mary Holland joins Kyle Meredith to talk about her role in Self Reliance, the new Hulu film written and directed by star Jake Johnson. Listen to the chat above, and don’t forget to like, review, and subscribe to KMW wherever you get your podcasts.

Holland, who recently starred in Maggie Moore(s) and The Big Door Prize, also speaks about her friendship with Johnson, playing a sister opposite Emily Hampshire, coming up in improv with Daryl J Johnson, and if she’d blindly get into a limo with Andy Samberg.

The actress then talks about her work as a writer for The Happiest Season (and if she’d want to do a sequel), as well as a script she’s currently working on with Lance Bass and Danielle Fishel. The work-in-progress script tackles the time when Bass and Fishel dated in high school before blowing up in *NSYNC and Boy Meets World, respectively. “They dated when they were in high school, Lance took Danielle to her senior prom. So it’s a really heartwarming story about friendship and self-discovery,” Holland explains.
