Mary Cosby Explains the Reason Charlinda Delivers Her Food Wrapped in Cellophane
Mary Cosby does not mess around when it comes to the foods and beverages she consumes. The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City cast member once explained that she avoids bubbly drinks because she believes that “carbonation hardens your ovaries,” and now, she’s elaborating on the particular way she prefers for her meals to be presented.
In a recent interview with ET, Mary opened up about the manner in which her housekeeper and cousin, Charlinda, delivers her food. This season, we’ve seen Charlinda dressed in scrubs as she brings Mary meals, which come on a tray with each individual item wrapped in cellophane. Mary told ET that it’s a practice she picked up from her late grandmother, Rosemary, noting, “It’s how we were raised.”
Although Mary lived with Charlinda for 20 years, and has seemingly kept up with the food delivery tradition throughout that time, she noted that there has recently been a major change in the way her home functions: Charlinda has left.
“I don’t know, she got the green eye and she turned on me and she left. She lived with me rent free for 20 years and then to turn on me, it’s like, I really don’t know who she is,” said Mary.
Unfortunately, this change seems to have come not long after Mary clarified her previous comments suggesting that she does not know Charlinda. On an episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, the Pentecostal First Lady said she regretted making it seem like Charlinda was a complete stranger during a RHOSLC interview. “I regret not conveying that the proper way, because I know all about Charlinda.”
