EXCLUSIVE: Netflix’s hit conspiracy thriller The Night Agent has added three for guest roles in Season 2: Marwan Kenzari (Black Adam), Elise Kibler (The Sunlit Night), and Dikran Tulaine (The Blacklist).

Kenzari plays Reza, a decorated soldier court marshalled for another man’s crime, who’s been given the opportunity to be a night agent. Fiercely intelligent, with a wry sense of humor and a trigger temper, he doesn’t hesitate to become violent or lethal when backed into a corner.

More from Deadline

Kibler’s character is Sloane, a glamorous British socialite. Smart, savvy, and glib, Sloane is the girlfriend of the wealthy Tomás Bala (Rob Heaps). She knows how toxic Tomás’s family is and tries to convince him to break ties…

Tulaine portrays Viktor, a smart, dangerous and manipulative man who was once the leader of his country, but has since been convicted of war crimes.

As previously announced Gabriel Basso and Luciane Buchanan return in Season 2 alongside additional new cast members Amanda Warren, Arienne Mandi, Louis Herthum, Berto Colon, Brittany Snow, Teddy Sears, Michael Malarkey, Keon Alexander, Navid Negahban, and Heaps.

Ranking sixth on Netflix’s Most Popular TV chart, the show based on Matthew Quirk’s NYT bestseller sees the FBI’s Peter Sutherland (Basso) manning a phone in the basement of the White House that never rings — until the night that it does, propelling him into a fast moving and dangerous conspiracy that ultimately leads all the way to the Oval Office.

In past interviews, Ryan has spoken to the fact that each season of the show will be a self-contained story, opening the door to new plot lines and characters with each go-round. While Season 1 was set in and around Washington D.C. and filmed in Vancouver, Netflix recently revealed that the next 10-episode season is primarily shooting in New York City, with additional filming in Thailand and Washington, D.C., suggesting that a trip overseas is in Sutherland’s future.

Produced by Sony Pictures Television, The Night Agent is created by Shawn Ryan, who also serves as showrunner and exec produces for MiddKid Productions. Additional EPs include Seth Gordon and Julia Gunn for Exhibit A; MiddKid’s Marney Hochman; James Vanderbilt, William Sherak, Paul Neinstein and Nicole Tossou for Project X; David Beaubaire for Sunset Lane Media; and Munis Rashid. The new season is expected to premiere this year.

Kenzari is best known for roles on the film side, having most recently been seen in Black Adam and Apple TV+’s Ghosted. Other feature credits include The Old Guard, Aladdin, Murder on the Orient Express and The Mummy, to name a few.

In addition to series like Younger, Daredevil and The Affair, Kibler has been seen in the Jenny Slate indie The Sunlit Night, which premiered at Sundance 2019.

Previously recurring on The Blacklist and The Walking Dead, Tulaine has also been seen on Leverage: Redemption, The Punisher, FBI and other series.

Kenzari is repped by CAA; Kibler by Anomaly Artist Management and Lichter, Grossman, Nichols; and Tulaine by Gotham Talent Agency, People Store, and Wright Talent Management.
