Amazon Prime Video announced that Season 4 of “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” will premiere on Feb. 18 with two new episodes dropping every Friday for four weeks, and also released the first teaser.

The series follows Miriam “Midge” Maisel (Rachel Brosnahan), a Jewish housewife in New York City who becomes a stand-up comedian after her husband leaves her for his secretary. Season 4 begins in 1960, and looking to hone her act, Midge finds a gig with total creative freedom, but her commitment to her craft creates a rift between her and her loved ones. Tony Shalhoub, Alex Bornstein, Marin Hinkle, Michael Zegen, Kevin Pollak, Caroline Aaron and Luke Kirby also star. Guest stars this season include Kelly Bishop, Milo Ventimiglia, John Waters and Jason Alexander.

Peacock unveiled a new trailer for the holiday film “The Housewives of the North Pole,” which premieres Dec. 9. The trailer features clips of the various housewives of the North Pole competing with one another to be the winner of the Best Holiday House decorating competition, from throwing drinks in faces to wrestling old women for reindeer decorations. The film stars Betsy Brandt, Kyle Richards, Jearnest Corchado, Kyle Selig, Tetona Jackson, Carlos Ponce, Alec Mapa and Damon Dayoub. Ron Oliver directs and executive produces alongside Brad Krevoy, Amanda Phillips and Eric Jarboe, as well as writers Tippi Dobrofsky, Neal Dobrofsky and Spyder Dobrofsky. Peacock released a new trailer for the fourth season of “The Real Housewives of Miami,” which debuts the first three episodes on Dec. 16 with new episodes available the following Thursdays. Peacock has revived “The Real Housewives of Miami” more than eight years after its third season concluded on Bravo. The Season 4 cast includes returning housewives Alexia Echevarria, Lisa Hochstein and Larsa Pippen, alongside newcomers Guerdy Abraira, Dr. Nicole Martin and Julia Lemigova, the first LGBTQIA+ housewife (she’s married to tennis icon Martina Navratilova, who will appear on the show). Adriana de Moura, Marysol Patton and Kiki Barth will also be featured. The new trailer opens with a question being posed over dinner: “Who do you trust the least?” As tensions rise, the trailer goes on to showcase clips of fabulous penthouses, beach backdrops and wild parties. Rotten Tomatoes released the book “Rotten Tomatoes: The Ultimate Binge Guide: 296 Must-See Shows That Changed the Way We Watch TV” on Nov. 30. Published by Running Press, the book is broken down into several sections including influential and “bingeable” series throughout history that changed the television landscape, introduced new voices, played with the form and more. There are also “commercial breaks” covering topics like the science of bingeing and the super producers redefining TV today.

The Hallmark Channel announced its slate of movies premiering in Jan. 2022. “The Perfect Pairing” premieres on Jan. 1 at 9 p.m. and follows an anonymous food critic (Nazneen Contractor) who hits her head at a winery she panned in the past and gets stuck in the care of the single father who runs the winery (Brennan Elliott). “Wedding Veil,” premiering Jan. 8 at 9 p.m., stars Lacey Chabert, Kevin McGarry, Autumn Reeser and Alison Sweeney and is the first installment of a new trilogy following a group of longtime college friends who discover a mysterious antique veil fabled to bring true love. Museum curator Avery and board member Peter investigate the origins of a long-lost painting as they plan a charity fundraiser to unveil its restoration. In “North to Home,” premiering Jan. 9 at 10 p.m. and starring Lyndsy Fonseca, Kimberley Sustad, Erica Durance and Barbara Niven, Suzanne is excited to get her three adopted daughters together for the first time in years for her birthday, but the sisters are each wrestling with unique challenges that threaten to derail the special occasion. “Love is Trending” premieres Jan. 15 at 9 p.m. and stars Jen Lilley and Christopher Russell in a story about a New York-based marketing executive struggling to keep her clients who learns the value of the support of her family and friends when she returns home to a rural maple farm to help her best friend plan her wedding in just two weeks. “Butlers in Love,” premiering on Jan. 22 at 9 p.m. and starring Stacey Farber, Corey Cott and Maxwell Caulfield, is set in a prestigious butler academy where passionate Emma and rebellious Henry train to become royal butlers where the competition is fierce and sparks fly. In “Romancing the Birthday Girl,” premiering Jan. 29 at 9 p.m. and starring Emilie Ullerup and Clayton James, Taylor opens a time capsule from her deceased mother on her birthday and finds six envelopes with six envelopes her mother wanted her to complete to expand her horizons.

EXECUTIVES

Home Brew announced that Sam Gibney has been promoted to president. He will oversee the company’s growth domestically and globally by developing and maintaining client relationships and implementing business structures that utilize emerging technologies and platforms. He will report to Grant Nemirow, CEO of Terry Hines & Associates. Gibney takes this new role after nine years at the company, where he served as head of motion design and later executive creative director and developed and produced digital, social and new tech strategies for clients across television, film and streaming platforms.

CBS News announced that Ingrid Ciprian-Matthews has been named executive vice president of newsgathering. She will have editorial oversight for network newsgathering worldwide, including all domestic and international bureaus. Ciprian-Matthews enters this new role after serving as executive vice president and CBS News Washington bureau chief since July 2020, where she was responsible for CBS News’ campaign coverage during the 2020 conventions, presidential debates, election night and the CBS News Decision Desk.

AWARDS

NBC and E! announced that Kim Kardashian West will receive the Fashion Icon Award at the 2021 People’s Choice Awards taking place on Dec. 7 at 9 p.m. at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, Calif. She is receiving the award for her fashion sense as well as her own designs through her shapewear brand Skims and her beauty brands KKW Beauty and KKW Fragrance.

LATE NIGHT

Maya Rudolph, Rita Moreno and Nicholas Braun will appear on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” while Billy Crystal, Jay Ellis and Local Natives will be on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” will feature Lee Jung-Jae, Peter Dinklage and Aaron and Bryce Dessner. Kristin Chenoweth and Kal Penn will be on “The Late Late Show with James Corden.”
