The recently released video game sequel Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 can be made to look like Spider-Man Noir’s universe, as one player has discovered.

Reddit user SpaceYetiGamer revealed that the sequel’s settings can be altered in a way that makes the open world New York City map look like the black-and-white universe of Spider-Man Noir.

The video SpaceYetiGamer posted to Reddit shows the settings necessary to create this aesthetic, which includes full film grain, having “Comic SFX” and Film Style Animation on, and a variety of High Contrast options altered. Once these are all changed, the map’s visuals match Spider-Man Noir’s look. The user did note that Photo Mode does occasionally turn the filter off, so it may be a bit challenging to capture photos of the Noir aesthetic in that way.
