Marvel fan sets new Avengers: Endgame viewing record

From Digital Spy

One super Marvel fan has set a new world record for watching Avengers: Endgame the most number of times.

Agustin Alanis tweeted on Monday (June 11) to confirm he has watched the record-breaking movie a whopping 110 times – breaking a record himself by spending more than 333 hours watching the film since its release in April.

It also means he had to have watched Avengers: Endgame on average twice a day since its release.

Agustin was previously competing with another Avengers: Endgame superfan called Tony Mitchell, who had watched the film 103 times as of Sunday (June 9).

It seems Avengers: Endgame isn't only popular with its superfans, as the film has grossed over $2.73 billion at the global box office so far.

The figures from Disney put the film on track to take down Avatar's $2.79 billion haul and become the biggest movie of all time, though there are suggestions the Marvel movie won't quite get there.

Even without it, the film has broken plenty of records across the globe – including smashing the record for the biggest opening weekend at the global box office of all time.

Now, that's what we call super.

Avengers: Endgame is in cinemas now.
