It’s part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and serves as a spin-off to the 2021 miniseries Hawkeye. The plot revolves around Maya Lopez / Echo, a deaf Choctaw woman who used to lead the Tracksuit Mafia. With her former ally, Wilson Fisk, hot on her trail, Maya returns home to Oklahoma and comes face to face with her past and aspects of the life she left behind. Season 1 premieres on January 9, 2024. There is no Marvel’s Echo Season 2 release date as the show has been developed as a miniseries.
According to reports, Echo has been made as a miniseries and is likely to wrap its main storyline within one season, just like several other Marvel shows that have come out on Disney Plus in recent years. However, Loki, also an MCU show, was reportedly developed as a limited series but went on to have a multi-seasonal run. So, an exception to this norm exists.
