Marvel's Cloak & Dagger: First Trailer Released for Freeform Hero Series
Freeform is in a Marvel-ous mood as it tees up its annual Upfronts presentation.
Hours after revealing the characters that will populate its live-action take on New Warriors, the cabler released the first photo and trailer from Marvel’s Cloak & Dagger, its other upcoming comic book adaptation.
Cloak & Dagger tells the story of Tandy Bowen (Kickin’ It‘s Olivia Holt) and Tyrone Johnson (The Night Of‘s Aubrey Joseph), two teenagers from very different backgrounds who find themselves awakened to newly acquired superpowers which are mysteriously linked to one another — she can emit light daggers, while he has the ability to engulf others in darkness. Though the two quickly learn they are better together than apart, their feelings for each other make their already complicated world even more challenging.

The cast for the series, which is slated to debut in early 2018, also includes Andrea Roth (Rescue Me), Gloria Reuben (ER), Miles Mussenden (Queen Sugar), Carl Lundstedt, James Saito (Eli Stone) and J.D. Evermore (Rectify). Watch the trailer below, then tell us what you think!
