Martin Scorsese is in the loop on the Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce romance!

The legendary filmmaker's daughter Francesca Scorsese spoke with PEOPLE surrounding her dad’s upcoming Super Bowl commercial with Squarespace, and revealed that he is aware about Swift's high-profile relationship with the Kansas City Chiefs player.

"Even my dad has heard about this," says Francesca, 24. "He's like, 'If I turn on the news and hear about who Taylor Swift is dating next, I swear.' "

And while Martin, 81, doesn't have any specific opinions about the pairing of Swift and Kelce, both 34, "It's been drilled into him," Francesca continues. "He knows. I mean, he knows of it. So I think that's funny enough, quite honestly."

As for the attention Swift's potential presence at the upcoming Super Bowl will mean for the broadcast Sunday as the Chiefs take on the San Francisco 49ers in Las Vegas, Francesca adds, "I feel like the TVs are all going to crash with how many people are tuning in."

Swift is slated to perform four consecutive nights in Tokyo, from Wednesday to Saturday — finishing just before Super Bowl LVIII on Sunday.

Kelce’s Chiefs are set to take on the 49ers at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas following their 17-10 win against the Baltimore Ravens during the AFC Championship game on Jan. 28.

Meanwhile, the end of the AFC Championship game saw Swift join her man on the field, leading to the two sharing a celebratory kiss.

Swift announced on Sunday that she would be releasing her 11th studio album, title The Tortured Poets Department, during her acceptance speech for best pop vocal album for Midnights, which marked her 13th Grammy award. (She has a total of 14 wins as of the 2024 ceremony.)

Kelce praised his girlfriend on Monday following her win, before quipping of his upcoming game, "I told her I'll have to hold up my end of the bargain and come home with hardware, too."

As for Francesca, the youngest daughter of the Oscar-winning Killers of the Flower Moon director and producer Helen Morris is forging her own path in Hollywood, from directing and writing to acting and creating on TikTok.

She has acted in Luca Guadagnino’s We Are Who We Are, and her short film Fish Out of Water premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival and screened at Cannes. She even co-hosts the podcast Treading Lightly.

Her latest endeavor is serving as the behind-the-scenes creative director on her dad’s upcoming Super Bowl commercial with Squarespace, a brand that offers website building and e-commerce tools for entrepreneurs. (PEOPLE premiered the exclusive first look at the making of the anticipated ad on Wednesday.)

For the behind-the-scenes look at her dad's commercial, Francesca tells PEOPLE she wanted to get “as much establishing shots as possible, because we were shooting in some really cool places."

"And also just getting my dad doing his thing and all of the insanity that went into creating this. … There was a lot of rigs and craziness that went into it," she adds.
