Martin Scorsese movies: All 24 Oscar-nominated actors and actresses [PHOTOS]

In May, director Martin Scorsese returned to the Cannes Film Festival where he triumphed in 1976, winning the coveted Palme d’Or for his classic film “Taxi Driver.” This year, he came back to the Croisette to premiere his 27th feature film, “Killers of the Flower Moon,” which opened to rapturous reviews for Apple Original Films. The movie spurred Oscar talk not only for the film and Scorsese, but also for the film’s stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Robert De Niro and Lily Gladstone.

Of course, Scorsese is no stranger in directing his cast members to Oscar nominations. In fact, among film directors, he is tied for second place with Elia Kazan with 24 nominations for his performers. Any acting nominations for “Flower Moon” would secure Scorsese’s place as second only to William Wyler, whose actors and actresses earned 36 nominations.
