The whole gang’s here! BET+ on Monday dropped a trailer for the highly anticipated Martin reunion that sees Martin Lawrence, Tisha Campbell, Carl Anthony Payne II and Tichina Arnold together again, seated in Martin and Gina’s apartment.
Streaming Thursday, June 16, Martin: The Reunion is a 90-minute, “once-in-a-lifetime celebration” of the popular Fox sitcom, which ran for five seasons (and 132 episodes) between 1992 and 1997. Per BET+, the unscripted event will be complete with “musical performances and drop-ins by celebrity super fans,” including Snoop Dogg, Brian McKnight and Tommy Davidson — the latter of whom appeared as Varnel Hill in the two-part Season 2 episode “Hollywood Swinging.”

In addition, the special will “pay an emotional tribute to the late, great Tommy Ford,” who died in 2016. The above trailer sees Lawrence, Campbell, Payne and Arnold gathered on the recreated Nipsey’s set to mourn their former costar.
As the trailer draws to a close, comedian/host Affion Crockett poses an inevitable question: “Can there be a Martin reboot?” he asks. “I mean, the people want to know!” Lawrence smirks, but the video cuts away before he gets a chance to answer.
In addition to Martin: The Reunion, BET+’s summer slate includes the returns of All the Queen’s Men (Season 2), American Gangster: Trap Queens (Season 3B), Family Business (Season 4) and The Ms. Pat Show (Season 2), a celebratized College Hill reboot, and new series I Love Us and The Black Hamptons.
